VENKO STUDIO / EST. 2026
iOS products,
shipped with care.
A one-person studio building native iOS apps and Telegram bots for startups that care about craft. Senior engineering, product thinking, App Store–ready from day one.
ABOUT
Engineering that moves the product forward.
I've spent the last five years building iOS products used at scale — telecom apps with millions of downloads, payment flows processing recurring subscriptions, and mobile experiences serving hundreds of thousands of weekly active users across multiple countries.
Most recently, I've been leading a mobile team building apps for European MVNO providers. I rebuilt the CI/CD pipeline, introduced linting and pre-commit checks across every PR, and carved out dedicated sprint time for tech debt — cutting review turnaround by ~35% and production hotfixes by half.
On the side, I'm shipping an iOS wallet app and a Swift SDK for a privacy-preserving payments protocol built on Fully Homomorphic Encryption.
Venko Studio is where this experience goes to work for other teams — startups who need senior iOS firepower without the overhead of a full-time hire.

HOURLY · ASYNC-FIRST
PROCESS
How the work gets done.
Discovery
(1 week)We start with a call. I ask hard questions about the product, the users, the constraints. You get back a written scope with milestones, risks, and a fixed budget — or an hourly estimate if the work is exploratory.
Architecture
(1–2 weeks)Before writing features, I set up the foundation: module structure, dependency injection, CI/CD, crash reporting, analytics, linting. The boring stuff that saves months later.
Build & ship
(iterative)Two-week cycles. Weekly demos. TestFlight builds from day one. You review real working software, not Figma screens. Bugs are fixed before features advance.
Handoff
(final week)Documentation, architecture notes, a recorded walkthrough, 30 days of post-launch support. If you're handing this to an in-house team, they inherit something they can actually read.
FAQ
Common questions.
How do you price projects?
Fixed-scope for well-defined work (most iOS apps, most bots). Hourly for discovery, audits, and ongoing consulting. You'll always know the number before work starts.
What's your availability?
I take 1–2 client projects at a time to keep quality high. Current lead time is usually 2–4 weeks before kickoff.
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Yes — most of my best work has been with founders who know their users cold but need someone to translate that into shipped software. I'll explain tradeoffs in plain language.
Can you join an existing team?
For short engagements, yes — I've led mobile teams and can slot in as a senior IC or tech lead. For longer-term, probably not the right fit — you want a full-time hire.
What about Android?
I don't build Android. I know teams that do and can make an intro.
Do you sign NDAs?
Of course. Standard mutual NDA, happy to sign yours or send mine.
